If influencers and reality stars are your jam, then you’re going to love the cast list for the new season of The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition. And, if they’re not… well, better luck next year.
Amongst the crop of this year’s contestants are Netflix, Survivor, and Love Island stars as well as a few prominent influencers. There are also some accomplished TV hosts and popular comedians.
The contestants will race around the world while battling other teams to gain more followers and win prize money for their chosen charity.

Alli Simpson and mum Angie Simpson
Where you know them from: Alli is an actress and singer with over a million followers on Instagram. She is playing alongside mum, Angie, who is the mother popstar, Cody Simpson.
What charity they’re competing for: Dementia Australia.
Bec Judd and sister Kate Twigley
Where you know them from: Bec was thrust into the public eye when she wore a revealing dress to the Brownlow Medals which she attended with her now husband Chris Judd. She’s gone on to carve out a successful career in the media, counting being the host of Postcards and a weather presenter amongst her achievements. She’s also a popular influencer.

Dane Simpson and Dad Bow Simpson
Where you know them from: Dane is a popular Australian comedian who’s featured on Channel Ten’s Have You Been Paying Attention?.

Darren McMullen and nephew Tristan Dougan
Where you know them from: Darren is an accomplished television and radio presenter and is known for hosting The Voice for four seasons.

Emma Watkins and sister Hayley Watkins
Where you know them from: Emma is best known for being the former yellow Wiggle.

George Mladenov and sister Pamela Mladenov
Where you know them from: George was on Survivor Brains v Brawn and Survivor: Heroes v Villains. He’s largely considered one of the greatest strategic players the show has ever seen.

Grant Denyer and wife Chezzi Denyer
Where you know them from: Grant is one of Australia’s most well-known TV hosts, and lists Sunrise, Family Feud and Million Dollar Minute on his resume and Chezzi is a former TV executive producer and co-host of Chezzi and Grant’s It’s All True Podcast.

Harry Jowsey and best mate Teddy Briggs
Where you know them from: Harry was the breakout star from season one of Netflix’s Too Hot To Handle, and has racked up over four million Instagram followers since appearing on the show back in 2020. Teddy also has a background in reality TV, he appeared on season one of Love Island Australia.

Ben Gillies and wife Jackie Gillies
Where you know them from: Ben is the former drummer of Silverchair and Jackie rose to fame on The Real Housewives of Melbourne.
