The Block is well known for bringing back former contestants, and the 2024 season has done exactly that.
However, this year, the returning All-Stars didn’t compete in the home renovations competition as contestants. Instead, they shared their advice with the current Blockheads.
On top of that, Channel Nine has teased that some of the The Block fan favourites will be participating in a mystery challenge.
“As this season builds to the auction, a select group of the All Stars will be helping this year’s Blockheads to create something never seen on The Block before,” a press release for the new season reads.
The hand-selected All-Stars include some very recognisable faces over the years. The group includes last year’s winners Steph and Gian and loveable couple Dale and Sophie from way back in 2012.

Steph and Gian
Steph and Gian competed on The Block 2023. The married couple won their season, and — between the reserve and the prize money — they took home a record-breaking $1.75 million.

Eliza and Liberty
Eliza and Liberty were fan favourites on The Block 2023. Although they were runners-up, they still managed to bag $1.05 million at the auction.

Jimmy and Tam
Jimmy and Tam won The Block 2020, and walked away with $966,000 profit plus $100,000 prize money.

Alisa and Lysandra
Alisa and Lysandra competed on The Block 2013 and 2014. They won their first season, which was known as Sky High. When they first started, they’d never even renovated a room — now, they’re both successful interior designers.

Ronnie and Georgia
Like Alysa and Lysandra, Ronnie and Georgia also did two seasons back to back.
They appeared on The Block 2017 and 2021. Despite winning five rooms during the 2021 season, they came last at the auction but still pocketed $296,000 for their efforts.

Michael and Carlene
Michael and Carlene were popular on their season of The Block way back in 2014. The married couple were tipped to win but famously came in last place, taking home just $10,000.

Kyal and Kara
Kyal and Kara were another 2014 team. They won three out of eight Room Reveals and ended up coming in third at auction and making a profit of $567,250.

Tom and Sarah-Jane
Tom and Sarah-Jane competed on The Block 2023. The couple had a devastating auction and only took home $20,000 for their 12 weeks of hard work.

Omar and Oz
2022’s Omar and Oz became the biggest winners in The Block history (they were later overtaken by Steph and Gian) when they sold their house for $5.586m, meaning that they took home close to $1.7m in winnings.

Dale and Sophie
Dale and Sophie won $355,000 on Auction Day back in 20212. Dale returned to the show in 2013 to help out contestant Duncan, who was left without a renovating partner.

Country couple Andy and Deb were on The Block 2019 and were well-known as the fun-loving pair. They placed third and took home $430,000.
