Amyl was born in Colombia but raised in Sydney. Although she only began doing drag in 2019 she’s already featured in a number of publications, including Gut Magazine and Astrophe Magazine. She also walked the runway at Australian Fashion Week in 2021 and 2022.

Ashley Madison

Location: Melbourne

Age: 25

Ashley Madison is originally from Shepparton in regional Victoria but is now based in Melbourne. She’s been doing drag for eight years and has won a number of accolades including 1st runner-up at the Miss Gay Australia Pageant and Belle of the Ball at the Drag Industry Variety Awards (DIVA). She owns a booking agency called Book A Queen, that has helped many other drag queens around the country get discovered.

Bumpa Love

Location: Melbourne

Age: 51

At the ripe age of 51, Bumpa Love is the oldest queen on Ru Paul’s Drag Race season 3. She’s a prominent figure in Auckland and has produced the city’s produced fabulous night-time Pride Parade.

She’s also been a Sponsorship & Events Manager for Melbourne’s gay rugby team the Chargers, MC for the Candlelight Aids Memorial (part of the 2014 International Aids Conference), creator of Melbourne’s Drag Awards, a member of the Yarra City Rainbow Advisory Committee and has produced work shown at Melbourne Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival, and Midsumma Festival.

Flor

Location: Auckland

Age: 25

Flor is a sultry Latin queen who was born in Guatemala but now lives in Auckland. She has been doing drag for six years and says she’s inspired by strong Latin women who are aware of their voices and stay true to who they are.

Gabriella Labucci (Ballarat, VIC)

Age: 31

Gabriella Labucci lives in Ballarat and her talents include but are not limited to drag, singing, dancing, roller skating, modelling, hosting, voice-over, and acting.

Hollywould Star

Location: Sydney

Age: 34

Hollywould Star hails from the US but has lived in Sydney for the past nine years. They’re a classicly trained singer who was recently seen performing as a Destiny’s Child member with the Grammy Award-winning Kelly Rowland at the 2023 Domain Dance Party for Sydney World Pride to an audience of 20,000 people.

Some of their other major gigs include singing the anthem at the 2015 Boxing Day Test at the MCG and performing as a headlining act at the 2022 Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade at the SCG.

Isis Avis Loren

Isis Avis Loren is a Melbourne queen who found success co-producing her own solo show Ballads & Ballgowns, which ran for two seasons in 2021 and 2022. She’s a fashionist and consistently serves self-made custom couture creations. She took out Best Costumier and Miss Congeniality at the Melbourne Drag Awards in 2019 and dresses much of the elite Melbourne drag scene in her Haus of Loren creations.

Ivanna Drink

Ivanna Drink is another Auckland queen. She has eight years of experience and tenure that expands over Australia and New Zealand. She’s married to Drag Race alum Anita Wigl’it, and together they make up one of the show’s biggest power couples. Ivanna’s career highlights include; winning the Queen of Queens pageant, her role as ‘Hooker #2’ from the television series Cowboy Bebop and more recently a stint across the ditch for World Pride and Sydney Mardi Gras 2023.

Ivory Glaze

Location: Sydney

Age: 26

Ivory Glaze is a banker by day and a queen by night. She has a love for fashion and her looks are always polished from head to toe, while still pushing boundaries.

Rita Menu

Location: Hamilton

Age: 24

At 24, Rita Menu is the youngest queen competing for the title this year. She bills herself as a singer, dancer, and seamstress. Though she may be somewhat of a newcomer to the scene, she shouldn’t be underestimated. Rita has already wowed audiences in the New Zealand drag scene with performances at local nightclubs as well as winning Kita and Anita’s Drag Wars competition in Auckland.

Ru Paul’s Drag Race Down Under season 3 will air on Stan on July 28.
