A lot of fan favourites have been eliminated so far on MasterChef Australia 2024, but, luckily, one of them will be returning after the Redemption Challenge.

Perhaps the most exciting episode of the season will see one of the Home Cooks, who already goodbye to their chance of winning Masterchef, will air on May 29 at 7:30pm on Channel 10 and 10Play.

Who is cooking in the 2024 MasterChef Australia Redemption Challenge?

The promo shows every contestant that’s been eliminated so far, apart from one, and he’s certainly a fan fav.

James, Steph, Jonathan, Khristian, Lily, Lourdes, Juan, Snezana, Stephen and Sav all feature in the promo, but Stephen is nowhere to be seen.

Will Steve be returning for the Redemption Challenge?

During an interview with Chattr, Steve said that he had “mixed feelings” about returning for a Redemption Challenge. However, we’ve got our fingers crossed that he’s there and he just wasn’t included in the trailer.

The loveable cook said that he had “quite a few mixed emotions” when he found out that he had the opportunity to return for the Challenge.

“I’m worried because I think what’s going to happen? And, I’m worried about whether I’ll get through it, and what will I have to do?” He said.

He said that while he was upset to be eliminated, he was also overwhelmed when he was told about the second chance opportunity.

“[In the moment] You’re disappointed because you’re not there, then you’re disappointed because you’ve not with your friends, you are disappointed because you’re not in the competition,” he explained.

“But suddenly you think, ‘That pressure is gone’ and it’s great. And then someone says, ‘You could be coming back next week and it’s like, ‘Oh, my God, the pressures back on!”

We guess we’ll have to wait and see if Steve shows up to the MasterChef kitchen.
