Farmer Wants a Wife season 14 resident ‘villain’ Karli Hinkley has surprised fans by debuting her new off-screen relationship with another farmer.
In case you missed it, Karli’s time on the FWAW was tumultuous. Farmer Bert famously departed the dating series early after telling his three remaining Ladies, Karli, Caitlin, and Brooke, that he had decided to leave the show solo.
Karli Hinkley’s Journey From Drama to Romance
Despite Karli’s failed romance with the pineapple farmer, she’s now found love with her new beau Mitchell Gorman – who just so happens to work in the potato industry.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday (May 25), the 32-year-old hard-launched her new relationship with a slew of snaps alongside Mitch, whom she described as the “love of my life”.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Mitch is a “Senior Agronomist with a demonstrated history of working in the potato industry.” Looks like girly’s got a type!
Fans and Friends React to Karli’s New Relationship
The announcement was met with an outpouring of support from friends, fellow contestants, and fans.
Comments like “So happy for you Karli!! ❤️” and “You find another farmer👌❤️❤️❤️” flooded her social media, while the more salty fans questioned her moving on from Farmer Bert so quickly post-show.
“Wait. What? Weren’t you publicly declaring your love for a pineapple dude a minute ago?” one commenter sniped, while another added, “That didn’t take long after you were so in love with Bert 🤔”

Why Did Farmer Bert Leave FWAW?
Despite many believing Karli had it in the bag to win Farmer Bert’s heart this season, she and her fellow Ladies were left shocked when he revealed he would be exiting the show prematurely.
“Coming into this experience, I was looking for someone to share my life with,” Bert said in the episode.
“I think all the girls are wonderful, but I don’t have what it takes to be in a relationship right now. I just don’t have the emotional time to be the person that people are deserving of. That’s the reality of it.”
