Proof that MAFS 2025 couple Rhi and Jeff knew each other before their wedding

MAFS 2025 may not have started airing yet but the drama certainly has, with the news that new couple Jeff Gobbels and Rhi Disljenkovic knew each other before the experiment.

Jeff and Rhi walked down the aisle at their televised wedding in late July.

In previous seasons, MAFS participants have had their phone access removed when they entered the experiment. However, Chattr can confirm that Rhi already follows Jeff on Instagram, suggesting that the pair knew each other before going on the show.

Jeff and Rhi recognised each other at the MAFS altar

An insider attended Jeff and Rhi’s wedding and snapped a video of Rhi walking down the aisle. The clip was shared by Daily Mail Australia and on MAFSGossip Instagram account and showed Jeff recognising his bride as she walked towards him.

“Hi Rhi,” he said to her, before adding: “What the hell?”

Further pics from the same publications showed Rhi and Jeff laughing after recognising each other.

Who is MAFS’ Jeff Gobbels?

According to Daily Mail Australia, MAFS won’t be the first TV show that Jeff’s appeared on. The publication reported he appeared on three episodes of Neighbours in 2017 as police officer Kurt Bridges.

The same title said that he’s also appeared in the TV mini-series The Warriors, the 2018 film Undertow and the 2019 Chinese drama The Whistleblower.

Jeff is a Melbourne-based Founder and Director of Splash Vodka.

Who is MAFS’ Rhi Disljenkovic?

Rhi was the first bride to be leaked for MAFS 2025. She’s a fitness enthusiast from Victoria, who runs a wellness Instagram page called train.in.au with her friend Shayna. She also works as an IT account manager at Seisma Group.

While Rhi doesn’t have a TV background like some of her co-stars, she’s pals with some big reality stars. Former The Bachelor leads Matt Agnew and Sam Wood, as well as MAFS 2024’s Eden Harper all follow her on Instagram.
