Dave Thomas MAFS 2025

With Married At First Sight (MAFS) 2025 back on our screens, we’re ready for all the drama this season’s cast has to offer. And when it comes to groom Dave Thomas, it seems the casting team stuck to what they know best.

Like many past MAFS participants, Dave already has a substantial social media presence – he has almost 30,000 followers on TikTok, according to Yahoo Lifestyle Australia.

He’s a 6.6 ft tall gym lover who owns his own caulking business (which involves applying silicon to construction sites) and racked up followers on TikTok after posting videos of him completing house renovations.

Who is Dave matched with on MAFS?

Dave’s TV bride is Jamie Marinos who’s a a Digital Account Manager for a Melbourne-based marketing firm.

According to Daily Mail Australia, a MAFS production source has described Jamie as “the life of the party” and keeps everyone, from cast to crew, buzzing.

Jamie graduated from the University of South Australia in 2017 with a Bachelor in Marketing and Communications.

She’s also got a serious social media following, with over 362,000 likes on her now-private TikTok account.

But heads up! According to Daily Mail, Jamie is reportedly familiar with one of the upcoming season’s rumoured MAFS intruders, groom Teejay Halkias. How will Dave take the revelation?

Jamie and Dave exchanged vows at Sydney’s Carriageworks, but their relationship didn’t get off to the smoothest start.

As Jamie put it, “I literally bamboozle Dave.”

But, hey, it’s early days. We’re keen to see how the two pan out!

Married At First Sight 2025 airs Sundays at 7pm and Monday – Wednesday at 7:30pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
