With Married At First Sight (MAFS) Season 12 production underway, it was only a matter of time before the MAFS 2025 cast started leaking to the public.
A handful of names have leaked over the past week, however, considering two of them have reality TV pasts, MAFS fans have been quick to share their feelings over the approach the show seems to be taking this year.

Who has been leaked for the MAFS 2025 cast?
MAFS 2025 brides
Ashleigh Ackerman
We don’t have any shots of Ashleigh just yet but she was papped getting married as part of the MAFS 2025 cast, as reported by So Sydney.
According to the publication, she seems to like her MAFS groom!
Jacqueline Burfoot
According to her LinkedIn page, Jacqueline is a smart cookie with financial accounting and law counted as just a few of the courses she’s undertaken. It also appears that she was TIME‘s Person of the Year in 2006.
Awhina Rutene
Awhina was confirmed by Daily Mail Australia as another MAFS 2025 cast member, and the publication reported that she is expected to be a break out star.
A source told Instagram account MAFS Uncensored that Awhina is “a mum who loves to cook and bake and host her own dinner parties, enjoys nights out and doing make-up”.
Katie Johnson
MAFS 2025 bride Katie is the CEO of a company called EATS HQ, according to Daily Mail Australia. Back in 2021, Katie made headlines for her random act of kindness.
Carina Mirabile
Daily Mail Australia has confirmed that Perth influencer Carina Mirable will be one of the MAFS 2025 Brides.
As well as being a content creator, Carina is also an actor and has appeared in a few TV commercials as well as a feature film called Titan.
According to Carina’s Now Actors profile, she’s completed a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and has lived and studied in the United States and London.
Jamie Marinos
Daily Mail Australia revealed that the unidentified bride spotted in images getting fake-married to a 6’6 TikTok tradie (more on him below) is Jamie Marinos. Her current job on LinkedIn is account management in Melbourne.
The pair got married at Sydney’s Carriageworks, the same place Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton and Brent Vitiello and Tamara Djordjevic all had their MAFS weddings.
Lauren Hall
Lauren Hall is the CEO of Mayfair Lane Gifts and has a rather interesting connection to MAFS 2024.
She’s the ex-girlfriend of controversial groom Jonathan McCullough, as per Daily Mail Australia. The couple dated for three months and split in January 2022.
Morena Farina
Morena Farina — like Lucinda Light — is a wedding MC. She also works as a a DJ, is in her mid-40s and is a mum.
An insider told Chattr that she will be the oldest bride on MAFS 2025.
Sierah Swepstone
Sierah Swepstone was announced as a bride by Daily Mail Australia in late July after she was spotted on set and filming her backstory in Melbourne.
Sierah was a contestant of Jimmy Nicholson‘s season of The Bachelor in 2021. He wound up choosing Holly Kingston for his final rose. (The pair and now married with a baby on the way.)
Rhi Disljenkovic
Melbourne-based fitness blogger Rhi Disljenkovic was the first MAFS 2025 cast member bride to be revealed by Daily Mail Australia.
Rhi is a fitness enthusiast who runs a wellness Instagram page with her friend Shayna.
Lauren Dunn and Sara Mesa also had Instagram pages from their respective food and fitness accounts that they were seemingly able to access during the show.
MAFS 2025 grooms
Tony Mojanovski
According to Daily Mail Australia, Tony is a 52-year-old council worker from Wollongong.
Adrian Araouzou
Daily Mail Australia confirmed Adrian as one of the MAFS 2025 grooms. An insider told the publication that he is tipped to be one of the standout cast members this season.
Ryan
Ryan has been confirmed by Daily Mail Australia as another MAFS 2025 groom.
The publication reported that he’s an actor, and a photo on his now-deactivated Star Now account shows him wearing a police uniform for a role on a TV series.
A friend of the groom described him to the publication as a “super nice guy” who is “tired of all the dating apps”.
Eliot Donovan
Eliot Donovan has been revealed by Daily Mail Australia as a MAFS 2025 groom.
Turns out he has reality TV connections to Beauty and the Geek‘s Troy Thompson, The Bachelor‘s Kiki Morris and Australia’s Next Top Model‘s Simone Holtznagel.
Billy Belcher
Daily Mail Australia spotted Billy Belcher on the MAFS 2024 set in July.
The publication revealed that Billy is 31, from England, a plasterer and was added to the MAFS bucks party at the last minute to make the whole thing a bit more exciting.
Jake Luik
Jake Luik works at a public high school in Gosnells, Western Australia called Southern River College as a wellbeing coordinator for Year 9 students.
He was papped at his TV wedding by Daily Mail Australia. However, the identity of his MAFS wife is not yet known.
Jeff Gobbels
MAFS 2025 groom Jeff Gobbels found himself in a very peculiar situation when he released he already knew his TV bride, Rhi Disljenkovic.
Daily Mail Australia shared footage of Jeff recognising his bride as she walked towards him.
“Hi Rhi,” he said to her, before adding: “What the hell?”
Dave Thomas Hand
Dave Thomas has a substantial social media presence with almost 30,000 followers on TikTok, according to Yahoo Lifestyle Australia.
He has a lot of tatts and has already been spotted with his new MAFS bride in sneaky pap shots from their wedding. Check out the shots over on Instagram account @mafsgossip.
Paul Antoine
Paul Antoine was the very first MAFS Season 12 groom to be announced by Daily Mail Australia. And guess what? It turns out he’s already been on reality TV before.
Only two years ago, Paul was one of 21 contestants who tried to find love on Channel Ten’s The Real Love Boat Australia.
MAFS fans are sceptical about the Season 12 cast
Fans have been quick to flood the comments section of the MAFS cast announcements on Instagram page @mafsgossip.
“Influencer at first sight,” one commenter wrote under an image of Antoine.
“On a scale of One to Only Here to be famous, how invested in finding love is this guy?” wrote another.
“Jesus when are they going to listen to what the viewers want! Genuine people looking for love not fame.”
Sierah received a similar reception on her announcement through the gossip account.
“The show has become about launching careers not finding love,” someone wrote under images of Sierah.
Rhi doesn’t have a reality TV past (that we know of) but she still copped the wrath of MAFS fans claiming she was looking for fame. That says more about what the show’s become, don’t you think?
“You guys really can’t let a woman be pretty without saying she’s on it for attention or the wrong reasons,” a commenter wrote to defend Rhi.
“You know nothing about her yet, let her live.”
With plenty of MAFS cast names yet to be announced, it’s still unknown what the overall vibe of the show will be. Will there be more ex-reality TV contestants, or will we see some fresh faces?
