The Secret Garden Festival is a 48 hour music festival in the middle of a ‘secret garden’, that is really just Brownlow Hill Farm. Although the lineup of the festival is a secret until tickets sell out (which is just insane because you don’t know whose going to be there), the festival boasts plays, comedies, parties and fun and games for the whole two days you’re there.

The festival makes a point not to announce whose going to be playing there to make sure that people are coming for the right reasons, which are essentially just to have a good time with glitter. With the option to camp included in your ticket price over the 48 hour period, you’d be crazy not to go grab a bunch of your mates and party in the forest with them. If you don’t have your own camping gear – and let’s face it, not many of us do – there’s an option to rent out camping gear for $50 for a two man tent. Not bad, hey?

With all the money raised from the tickets going to four charities, such as Oxfam and the local primary school, you know that the money you spend on the festival is definitely going to a good place.
