Pauline Hanson has literally been talking shit online after learning that the Australian Tax Office’s new building in Melbourne will include squat toilets.

In what is quite possibly the biggest overreaction of the year, Ms Hanson posted a video to her Facebook page Sunday night in which she voices her shock at an Australian government department actually trying to promote cultural inclusiveness.

As Ms Hanson says so eloquently in the video,

“If they don’t know how to use our toilets…then what the hell is going on? Because I know what’s more confusing, and it’s definitely not using the squat toilet. It’s doing our tax.”

-Pauline Hanson, Senator, toilet and tax expert (apparently)

Just in case the phrase ‘squat toilet’ is not descriptive enough for One Nation supporters, Ms Hanson also gives a gold star demonstration in the video on how these apparent affronts to Australian culture work.

Just wait till Pauline finds out the squat toilets are also halal

Last week the Herald Sun reported on how the new ATO office in Box Hill, Melbourne would feature several squat toilets to cope with their culturally diverse workforce. More than 20% of ATO employees are from non-English speaking backgrounds, with significant numbers coming India and nations in South-East Asia. Squat toilets are the norm in these countries, although Western-style toilets are becoming increasingly common to accommodate for Western tourists. Oh the irony.

Squat toilets are reportedly also better for your health than Western-style toilets, which force your bowels into a difficult angle for defecation.

It was recently announced that Ms Hanson had secured one of the much-coveted six year Senate terms caused by the double dissolution election on July 2. Senators usually serve three year terms, except in double dissolution elections where the first six senators in each state receive double terms. Labor Senator for NSW, Sam Dastyari also received a six year term, guaranteeing the Australian public at least six years of healthy debate between himself and Ms Hanson.
