Ah 2006, a time when chunky hair highlights, trucker hats and just about everything that Avril Lavigne wore on a daily basis were the height of fashion. It’s also the time Perth’s pop rockers End of Fashion released their iconic self-titled debut, which resonated with thousands of Aussie fans and those overseas too.

The group continued to gain momentum and subsequently released two further albums before calling a hiatus in 2014. Fast forward to the present day and the band has announced a very special national tour, celebrating 10 years since the launch of their much loved first record.

To say End of Fashion gained world renowned attention for their debut would be an understatement. Lead single O Yeah reached number 8 in the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2005 and later 21 on the ARIA charts, which had them clean up two ARIA awards as a result. Frontman Justin Burford revealed he was inspired to get the band back together after a show they did in Perth earlier in the year.

“We did what we thought would be a special one off show at Amplifier, a venue that had a lot of meaning for us back in the day. Putting those songs back on that stage, playing with guys like Mal Clark and Jay Cortez, it all kind of felt like going home,” said Burford.
