IT’S HERE! IT’S FINALLY HERE! After the disappointing news of Stereosonic shutting up shop for the year and the general bleak outlook on festival culture for Australians, at least one thing in our lives is still delivering good news. Following some CRAZY rumours, this morning Matt & Alex of Triple J released the official Splendour in the Grass lineup and, oh boy, we’re still coming to terms with the awesomeness.

Headlining the event this year are The Strokes and THE CURE!!! WHAAAAT?!?! Hits me right in my weirdly-kind-of-emo-but-also-retro childhood! And that’s not all, we’re also looking forward to some sick Courtney Barnett (who, incidentally, is the only person to make the Australian accent sound sexy), Flume, Boy and Bear, At The Drive In, Violent Soho, Hermitude and The Avalanches, who haven’t played together since before you were even old enough to enjoy music!
