LeAnne Rimes is a big fan

During a Q&A for The Voice Australia 2024 one of the judges LeAnne Rimes had nothing but nice things to say about Reuben. And, she ended up being Reuben’s judge for this season.

She called him “one of the best auditions” that she has seen on The Voice Australia.

“[Reuben] is just an incredible vocalist and so authentic and real. I think that’s probably one of the best auditions that we’ve seen on the show,” LeAnn said.

His family is very musical

Reuben has a wife, Olivia and three adorable children that follow him when he’s out on the road.

His wife Olivia, is also a talented performer herself. She has released her own music and is often seen up on stage with Reuben.

They’ve performed together and Reuben always wants to make sure his wife’s talents are being showcased too.

In an interview with PerthNow, Reuben said he was friend-zoned three times by Olivia when they were working together as a duo before she finally went out with him.

“We met through music, through a mutual friend who introduced us and we sang along together for a while, did a little duo. She friend-zoned me three times,” he told the publication.

Reuben’s heartfelt journey

Speaking to the publication, Reuben said his musical career was put into motion after losing his close friend Josh Henderson, who died in 2012.

When he sang at his friend’s wake, he said it “fuelled” his passion for music.

“His spirit lived through my music, so I believed I had to do it justice.”
