A famous Aussie Kween is competing in RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars

Will she have the upper hand again?

RuPaul’s hit show is going international with a brand spanking new series called RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars.

The latest drop from the Ru Paul franchise will see twelve queens from as many countries compete for the grand prize of $200,000. RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under Season 2 runner-up Kween Kong will be representing Australia.

The series premieres on August 16 on Stan.

Who will be in the RuPaul’s Global All Stars cast?

Joining Australia’s fierce representative will be Alyssa Edwards (USA), Athena Likis (Belgium), Eva Le Queen (Philippines), Gala Varo (Mexico), Kitty Scott-Claws (UK), Miranda Lebrao (Brazil), Nehellenia (Italy), Pythia (Canada), Soa de Muse (France), Tessa Testicle (Germany) and Vanity Vain (Sweden).

Who are the RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars judges?

The queen of all queens RuPaul Charles will be the lead judge, joined by resident judge Michelle Visage, who recently took over as the host of Drag Race Down Under, and choreographer Jamal Sims.

A rotation of stars from across the show’s international franchise will also step in throughout the season as temporary judges.

“The world is not ready for RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars,” RuPaul said in a statement.

“Twelve queens representing their home countries raises the stakes to a whole new level. Plus, the international mix of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent will, pardon my French, blow your f***ing minds.”

Is there a theme?

There is, it’s ‘Olympics of Drag’. The theme is a nod to how Drag Race is referred to in the drag community due to the intense challenges, preparation, skill and physicality required to take part.
