There's two new Sharks!

Five ultra-rich Sharks will be diving into Shark Tank Australia 2024 and making deals with budding entrepreneurs.

All five investors will meet pre-selected Australians who will pitch their ideas to them. If the Sharks are interested, they’ll offer the entrepreneur an amount to invest in exchange for a percentage of their company.

Shark Tank 2024 will see the return of Sharks Davie FogartyJane Lu and Robert Herjavec. They’ll be joined by newcomers Maxine Horne and Nick Bell.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 Sharks.

Davie Fogarty

Returnee Shark Davie Fogarty is best known for being the founder of the wearable blanket brand Oodie, but he has many more business successes under his belt. He founded the Davie Group, which oversees 10 consumer brands.

Davie’s most impressive acquisition on Shark Tank 2023 was Suitor, a Sydney suit hire business, which tripled its revenue from $1m to $3m since appearing on the show.

Jane Lu

Jane Lu founded the hugely successful online boutique and clothing brand Showpo. She also has her own online course, The Lazy CEO’s Guide to Starting and Growing an Online Business. Her net worth is said to be around the $55 million mark.

Robert Herjavec

Robert Herjavec made the crossover from Shark Tank US to Shark Tank Australia in 2023, and he’s returning for this year’s season.

He leads two multimillion-dollar technology companies. Cyderes, previously known as The Herjavec Group, has grown from three employees and $400,000 in sales to over 300 employees and $223 million in revenue over two decades.

Maxine Horne

Maxine Horne built her empire starting with a single Fone Zone store at Gold Coast’s Pacific Fair.

Two decades later, that venture grew into Vita Group, boasting over 1600 staff and generating over $700 million annually. At one point, Maxine was officially Australia’s highest-paid female CEO.

Nick Bell

Nick Bell turned $300 in start up capital into a $300 million empire, earning a spot on the Australian Financial Review Young Rich List for five consecutive years.

With over a dozen successful companies under his belt, including a digital ad agency he sold for $39 million, Nick now leads Superist, a digital agency group with 2000 staff. He also appeared on Celebrity Apprentice in 2022 as a boardroom advisor.
