Meet Jaydin Shingleton, one of the contestants on The Voice Australia 2024 the family man who heralds from Kaikoura, Aotearoa New Zealand with some smooth vocals.

The 24-year-old has been a musician most of his life, playing music since he was a little kid.

Speaking to RNZ, he attributes his musical talents to his mum and grandfather, who inspired him to pursue music at 4 years old.

“Once I could sing, she had me singing, in a good way of course, and from there I started doing competitions,” he told the publication.

Jaydin has the most adorable family

Jaydin is not only a rockstar at home and on The Voice Australia but has the cutest family. He has a beautiful fiancé, Victoria and a young son named Bowie, who loves rocking horses (we love rocking horses too, Bowie!)

Jaydin has released his own music

When he isn’t being the world’s greatest dad, Jaydin is writing, producing and releasing music.

Earlier this year, he released his fourth single, On The Run. One of his other singles, The World For You, was written for his fiancé when they were in a long-distance relationship. How romantic!

He also tours across New Zealand performing at various events and festivals such as Mackenzie Summer Sounds.

And one day he hopes to head to Nashville, Tennessee to hone his skills as a country artist, RNZ noted.

Jaydin is on Team Guy Sebastian

During his blind auditions for The Voice Australia 2024, Jaydin auditioned with the song Tennessee Whiskey by Chris Stapleton. Only seconds into the song, Guy Sebastian pressed his buzzer and was followed by the other three.

He said he wanted at least one judge to turn around, but to have all four turn around was a very good surprise!
