Where is Hunted Australia 2023 filmed?

Hunted Australia 2023 sees 18 regular(ish) Australians play an extreme game of hide and seek with some of the world’s most accomplished covert operations experts.

The premise of the reality show is that Fugitives must evade the Hunters for a total of 21 days. But where exactly can they go?

Well, the show is set in Victoria, and the Fugitives are allowed to hide absolutely anywhere within the state but must not cross the borderline.

Season one of the hit reality show was actually launched as a joint initiative with the tourism board, Visit Victoria and it will be the location of season two.

“We’re all about doing things differently at Visit Victoria, so as soon as we heard the premise of this new series, we wanted to put our stamp on it.” Visit Victoria chief marketing officer Shae Keenan told The Drum in 2022.

Marty Benson, The Content Director of Endemol Shine which is the company that produces Hunted, also said the partnership was a “perfect match”.

This year’s fugitives look to give the Hunters a run for their money, as there are multiple ex-military personnel, IT pros, and a professional boxer among them.
