Wicked is set to hit theatres next month and to celebrate the premiere Ariana Grande and some of the cast of the upcoming movie are coming to Sydney.
Announced this morning in an Instagram post, Ariana, Cynthia Erivo, Jeff Goldblum, and director Jon Chu jumped in front of the camera to let Aussies know that the stars of the highly anticipated movie are heading down under to Sydney.
“We’re thrilled Australia will be the first stop on our global tour,” Wicked director Jon said.
“We have a few more surprise guests that will be joining us Down Under, so keep an eye out.”
Some of the surprise guests could be other casts members which includes Bridgerton star Jonathan Bailey, Everything Everywhere All At Once actress Michelle Yeoh, SNL star Bowen Yang, and Ethan Slater, Ariana’s current beau.
Or maybe some Aussie stars could hit the red (or perhaps green) carpet!
There is no date on when Ariana is coming to Sydney for the Wicked premiere, but when we know, we’ll let you know immediately.

What is Wicked about?
Wicked, the untold story of the witches of Oz, stars Cynthia as Elphaba, a young woman misunderstood because of her unusual green skin, who has yet to discover her true power, and Ariana as Glinda, a popular young woman gilded by privilege and ambition, who has yet to discover her true heart.
