Have you dreamed of having your humble abode look as stylish as Steph and Gian’s The Block house?
Well, now that can be a reality because the winning renovators have launched their own interior range, Japandi Estate.
The married couple shared the exciting announcement on their joint Instagram account.
“Japandi Estate is a lifestyle, homewares and architectural brand that blends Japanese ideologies and Scandinavian design elements,” Steph said in the video.
“As a brand, we look to find a balance between the inbuilt environment, and nature, while embracing the beauty in imperfection and use of nature. “
What’s in the range?
The range hasn’t been released yet, and Steph and Gian haven’t announced an official drop date – just that it’s “coming soon”.
However, you can sign up on their website to “receive early access and exclusive benefits”.
While the homewares products haven’t officially been released, it’s pretty much a given that the products featured in their launch video will be part of their range. You can check them out below.
The concepts behind Japandi Estate
Steph and Gian explained that their brand covers homewares, architecture and lifestyle and explained the concepts behind Japand Estate.
- Japanese aesthetics – Encourages balance and harmony with nature.
- Wabi-sabi philosophy- Embraces the beauty of imperfection and natural materials.
- Scandinavian design – within minimalist and functional architecture.
- Hygge lifestyle – creating a warm and cosy atmosphere for life’s most meaningful moments.
The Block 2023 contestants’ reaction
Steph and Gian won The Block 2023, and competed alongside Eliza and Liberty, Kirsty and Brett, Leah and Ash and Leslie and Kyle.
While some of the contestants have shown their support for Steph and Gian’s range on Instagram, it’s unsurprisingly been radio silence from Ash and Leah and Kristy and Brett.
“Amazing! I knew the investment banker and real housewife of Sydney had it in them 😂 So proud!🤩 🤎🤎🤎,” Kyle and Leslie commented on the video.
“So happy for you guys I could cry. You’ve poured your hearts and souls into this and I can’t wait to see the well-deserved success to follow,” Liberty penned.
“I can’t wait to have my whole house decked out with every single stunning item you create!!!!!!!! All complimentary obviously,” Eliza joked.
