Everything to know about MKR besties Mike and Pete

Will practice make perfect?

My Kitchen Rules (MKR) 2024’s Mike and Pete’s first Instant Restaurant didn’t exactly go as planned.

But, will it be a case of practice makes perfect for the mates in round two?

Mike and Pete are cooking against OG’s Simone and Viviana and Hannah and Lawrence, as well as MKR Gatecrashers Maddie and Janey, Caz and Fergus and Robert and Andrea in round two of the Instant Restaurants.

Mike and Pete have been buddies for a long time, and both have an Italian heritage. On MKR, they’ve claimed that Italian is their cuisine of choice, and it’s what they cooked in the first round.

Everything we know about MKR’s Mike and Pete

How do Mike and Pete describe their cooking style?

According to Pete’s MKR bio, he likes to try new things when it comes to cooking.

“I am adventurous with my cooking and like to push myself, sometimes to my own detriment. I am pretty confident with balancing flavours but also love our traditional Italian cuisine,” he said.

Mike added that he learnt the fundamentals, which he believes helps make him a good cook.

“I think I have all the basic skills and a little more. I would say that I am a great home cook,” he said.

What are their Instagram accounts?

Mike’s Instagram is private, but it’s @mike.dellam. You can also find his Facebook profile here. Pete’s Instagram profile is private too, and it’s @petiebee.

Are Mike and Pete single?

Nope! The men have been friends for decades and are in long-term relationships.

What have Mike and Pete cooked so far?

Mike and Pete’s first Instant Restuarant was named Twisted Lemons, and they opted for an Italian theme.

They served Crayfish Ravioli in Mariana Sauce for the entree, an Osso Buco with Soft Polenta and Broccolini for the main and Sicilian Cannoli with Ricotta for dessert.

Their entree and main course disappointed both their fellow contestants and the MKR judges. Colin Fassnidge said the entree didn’t taste like crayfish, and some of the meat in their main was undercooked and tough.

However, they finished the night with a perfect ten from both Pete and Manu for their dessert of Canneloni.

The bar has been set high in round two of the Instant Restaurants, with Simone and Viviana securing the highest score in MKR history.
