As always, the Love Island Australia 2024 cast is packed full of genetically blessed hotties who are ready to find love (and blue Instagram ticks) in Spain.
In early October, Love Island fans were given a peek at the Islanders in the first trailer.
Shortly after the trailer dropped, Channel 9 confirmed the OG Islanders, the first two Bombshells, and a new twist called the Love Island Gods, which are returnee contestants.
However, when the network announced the initial cast, they also included (now deleted) bio pages for seven other Islanders, which screams future Bombshells to us.
Read on to find out who’s confirmed to be in the Love Island Australia 2024 cast – and whose bios were leaked.
The OG Girls
Eilisha
Elisha is a 25-year-old support worker from Queensland. She’s freshly single, having only just broken up with her ex six months before filming Love Island Australia.
Xanthe Vessen
Xanthe is a 21-year-old property stylist from NSW. She broke up with her ex of two and a half years in December.
“I was mentally checked out by the time we broke up. He was a lot older than me, and that’s why it didn’t work out. I didn’t really know who I was at 18, and as I got a bit older I knew we weren’t compatible,” she said of the relationship in her Love Island bio.
Mimi
25-year-old Mimi grew up in Wellington, New Zealand, before moving to London and eventually living in Sydney. She owns a fashion label called EFFN with her ex-boyfriend. Despite splitting up two years ago, they have a healthy work relationship.
Em
Em is a 26-year-old model and content creator from NSW. In her Love Island bio, she said she would prioritise an emotional connection over a physical one while she’s in the villa.
Hannah
24-year-old Hannah from Victoria is a student nurse. She applied to be on the show last year but was knocked back.
“Then this year I made it, pictured life in the Villa, and here I am,” she said in her Love Island bio.
“I have been told ever since I was 18 that I’d be perfect for Love Island. Everyone says I look like an Islander,” she added.
The Boys
Niko
According to his Love Island bio, 28-year-old Niko from NSW is ready to settle down with the right girl and stop playing the field.
However, he said that he would get to know all the girls before he made his decision.
“I’m not going to just stick to the person I’m partnered with at the start. I will have a good talk with all the girls and see who I’m attracted to.”
Dylan
25-year-old Dylan is Irish and arrived in Australia last year. In his Love Island bio, Dylan described himself as a down-to-earth guy who isn’t scared of a relationship.
Zane
24-year-old Zane from Queensland is a professional rugby player turned civil construction worker. He’s a qualified plumber who’s studying to be a personal trainer/
Indigo
Indigo, 23, is a sales manager for a 4WD accessory company and spends much of his spare time at the gym. According to his bio, he’s had one serious relationship, which ran its course.
Kane
Carpenter Kane, 23, from SA, will be the villa’s loveable larrikin and is a bit of a Love Island superfan.
“I’ve watched the show over the years, including UK Love Island, so being a part of it makes me stoked,” he said in his bio.
The first Bombshells
Sophie
Sophie will be the first bomb entering the villa and it looks to be a spicy scene. According to her bio, she already has an existing relationship with someone already in the villa, and they’ve caught up regularly over the years.
Taylor
Taylor’s no stranger to reality TV; he was at The Summit last year. He split from his girlfriend shortly after filming the adventure reality show and said that he’s ready to find his next love.
The Love Island Gods
Sydney
Sydney was the runner-up on Love Island US 2022. She met her ex-boyfriend Isaiah on the show, who she dated for a year until he cheated on her.
“We fell in love from the show. It was very real for me. He messed up of course and I had to leave him,” she said in her Love Island bio.
Steph
25-year-old Steph from France was on Love Island France and Love Island Games. On the latter, he hooked up with former Australian Islander Jessica Losurdo, but the pair never pursued their relationship in the real world.
Leaked Love Island cast members
As previously mentioned, bios for seven cast members were temporarily listed on the official Love Island website, but they’re not part of the first cast announcement.
Among them is none other than infamous FBoy Island US winner Mercedes Knox.
Mercedes Knox
Mercedes is from Dallas, America, and was on FBoy Island US Season 2. During his season, he consistently told the other men that he wasr, when Louise chose him an FBoy. Howeve during the final, he decided to split the money with her.
Tommy Armour
Tommy is a popular TikTok who went viral for eating an entire egg. Earlier this year, Tommy appeared on The Today Show with host Alex Cullen, who devoured a raw egg on live TV.
Jade Phalen
Jade is from Brisbane and is likely to enter the Love Island villa as a bombshell.
Eric Garcia
Eric is from Sydney, and according to his Instagram grid, he spends a considerable amount of time in the gym.
Kaylah Holmes
Kaylah is a bikini bodybuilder who coaches clients through her business Flex Coaching.
Krissy Bertone
Krissy has a whopping 370k followers on TikTok and fan pages on Instagram dedicated to her.
Krissy’s heritage is Portuguese and Sicilian, and she owns a bikini label called Bertone Swim.
Mia Dalkos
Mia is from SA and she runs her own clothing hire company named Mia’s Hire Boutique.
