Most of the contestants on Dream Home Australia will walk away from the show with one of the biggest prizes ever: an entire home renovation. So, if you’re hoping for just that, here’s how you can apply to be cast on the show.
The feel-good reality series sees six teams of everyday Aussies will renovate their teammate’s house, and walk away with their own newly renovated home. On top of that, the team with the highest score overall will score an additional $100,000 to help with their mortgage.
With such lucrative rewards, it shouldn’t come us too much of a surprise that Aussies across the nation are falling over themselves to be cast to be on the next season.
Here’s how you can apply to be on Dream Home Australia 2025.
How do I apply?
Casting is open for Dream Home Australia season two, and you can throw your hat in the ring by heading to the website here.
“Do you own a home, but the dream of renovating is out of reach? Then this is for you!” The casting call begins.
“Not only will your house be transformed into the home of your dreams – for free, you’ll also be competing for a life-changing cash prize! “
The blurb points out that prior experience in renovation isn’t required.
“You don’t need to be a tradie or even have any experience – just someone with an eye for design and a drive to get your hands dirty. What are you waiting for? Apply now!”
What’s the application process like?
Applicants will be required to make an account, and then answer a series of questions, including information about the home that they own, and whether they own it individually.
The next stage requires answers to more in-depth questions, like “Please list 4 things you would like to have in your dream renovation and why?” and “Why do you think you would make a great duo for Dream Home?”
Finally, you’ll be asked to upload a video of you and your teammate.
