Married at First Sight Australia 2023’s Janelle Han is a driven, beauty influencer who grew up in a very strict Singaporean Chinese family with high expectations.

While her upbringing was “tough at times”, she is incredibly close to her family which includes her parents and two brothers.

Her mum and dad are happily married, which is something Janelle strives for and is looking for someone her family “approve” of.

According to her official Nine bio, Janelle “dates for marriage only” due to managing an auto-immune disease, lupus, which means the pressure to have children feels stronger.

Janelle has had a handful of relationships, however, she admitted she is “bossy, clingy, short tempered and ridiculously picky” when it comes to men.

She’s sick of settling for men who are not good enough and she wants to be the one “reaching” for once.
