Here’s a little something for all you hardcore pop rock fans. Panic! At the Disco have announced a 2017 Australian tour!

Now before you’re all flooded with distant memories of a fever we all had trouble sweating out of (stay with me), the Las Vegas rockers are returning to our shores in January next year with current fifth studio album Death of a Bachelor.

It’s been waaaaaaaay over a decade since Brendon Urie and his crew first released their debut album, but they’ve grown up since (and so have we thankfully) with Urie calling an end to his bachelor days by marrying Sarah Orzechowski, which inspired some of the tracks found on the new record.

Death of a Bachelor stands alone as a triumphant collection of songs where the band has effortlessly blended the sounds of Sinatra and Queen and made it all their own. The contemporary and old world feel of the LP will no doubt provide one hell of a live show for audiences.

With each album release the band has gone above and beyond to push the boundaries, establishing a number of unique genre bending records that have fans coming back time and time again. So it’s no wonder the news of their Australian circuit has been received well by us all.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday July 7 at 9:00am so be sure to get your hands on them fast because we predict they won’t be available for too long. For those of you who can’t wait, an exclusive fan pre-sale will begin on Tuesday July 5 from 9:00am. Fans must sign up to be eligible, so check out Select Touring for more details.
