Have you ever wanted to be lullabied by Willow Smith sing-talking over a Michael Cera production? No? Well, here you go anyway.

Willow uploaded the song, titled twentyfortyeight 2.0, to her Soundcloud, and let’s face it, it’s weird. There is certainly no whipping of the hair back and forth here. Instead, Willow says some strange things about nebulous yellow-hued shapes that are “Um I… it’s warm” and tries to warn us about our manufactured society: “that isn’t genuine, that doesn’t nurture the human soul.”

The producer, Micheal Cera (Arrested Development), is a star who almost looks like he has walked into his career by accident. So, in a way I’m not surprised to find him creating lullabies for Willow Smith. Let’s not forget his surprise ‘indie bedroom-folk‘ album of 2014. So yeah, I’m going to go with weird.
