Vince McMahon is the genius behind the WWE. After breaking their attendance record for an event at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas recently, a lot has been made of the empire he has built. While behind the scenes he has ruled with an iron fist, some of his antics on-screen have left a lot to be desired as you will see below.
1. Has a match against God
Yes you read that right, Vince McMahon once had a match against ‘God’. Teaming with his son, Shane, at Backlash against Shawn Michaels and God. You honestly could not make this stuff up!
So how does God look like to McMahon? A beam of shining light that even got an entrance with music and everything.
2. Tears both quads at once
Vince is a pretty built man for one who has no athletic background. Having started in his father’s wrestling company as an announcer, he has never been a full-time competitor.
That was very clear during the 2005 Royal Rumble. After an error during the finish of the main event, the boss marched out to the ring and, in his rage in getting into the ring, tore both his quads at the same time. Let the hilarity ensue.
3. The man has no filter
So already in this list we’ve had him wrestle God and tear quads, what could be worse? How about using a derogatory African-American term to an Anglo-Saxon person? If that was your answer then skip to 0:47 and see for yourself.
4. Lets his own daughter get attacked
Vince McMahon has made a lot of money out of his own family. Some of that money has been through their popularity but the majority has been by them being physically involved.
His daughter, Stephanie, has a large role in the company now and is one of the prominent parts of the weekly television program but back in 2003 she was involved in a feud against her father. What transpired was horrific: she was beaten by future UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar. CONTENT WARNING!
The worst part in all this feud? Vince and Stephanie had an I Quit match at No Mercy, which culminated in Vince choking his own daughter with a lead pipe! Whatever gets the ratings, right?
5. Makes out with another woman in front of his wife
Being the owner of the company does have some perks. One of those includes being able to be a love interest for all the pretty women wrestlers for pretty much no reason other than for Vince’s own sick satisfaction.
In another example of his willingness to use his own family, Vince got his wife involved this time, who was in a ‘coma’ and had to watch him make out with a woman young enough to be his daughter.
Because of the sheer amount of ridiculous things that McMahon has done over his lifetime, this is part 1 and part 2 next week will round out the 10 most ridiculous Vince McMahon moments.
