Cowabunga, dudes! Here’s when Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles drops

Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson will be voicing a character in the new series.

Get your pizza orders ready, because Paramount+ is bringing our favourite heroes in a half-shell back with a brand-new 2D animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

All 12 episodes are set to drop exclusively on Paramount+ on Saturday, 10 August, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Star-studded guest appearances

This new series isn’t just a turtle reunion—it’s also bringing some serious star power.

Saturday Night Live‘s Pete Davidson voices Rod, a rich kid obsessed with mutants, while Alanna Ubach (Ted) takes on the role of Bishop, a genius inventor who’s convinced mutants, including our beloved Turtles, are a threat to humanity. And that’s not all—more guest stars are expected to be announced soon!

From sewer to screen

Produced by Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures, the same dream team behind last summer’s hit film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, this series promises to dive deeper into the Mutant Mayhem universe.

Fans can look forward to Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey facing off against new threats and teaming up with familiar allies on the streets of NYC.

Reprising their roles

Our pizza-loving, crime-fighting team will sound familiar too, with the cast from Mutant Mayhem returning to their roles.

Micah Abbey (Cousins for Life) is back as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. (The Chi) as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) as Leonardo, Brady Noon (Family Switch) as Raphael, and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) as April O’Neil. Talk about a reunion!

The series is executive produced by Chris Yost (The Mandalorian, Thor: Ragnarok) and Alan Wan (Blue Eye Samurai, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), while Nickelodeon’s Claudia Spinelli and Nikki Price are overseeing production.
