Meet the Dancing With The Stars Australia 2024 judges ready to keep the celebs on their toes

They'll make sure the celebs don't step out of line

Dancing With The Stars Australia will see some familiar faces as judges in 2024.

DWTS veterans Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess, Mark Wilson and Helen Richey are all returning to the judges’ bench this season.

Craig, Sharna and Mark are back fresh off the 2023 season, and while Helen sat out last year’s instalment, she’s on the panel again this year.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 2024 Dancing With The Stars judges.

Craig Revel Horwood is best known for being a judge on the British dance show Strictly Come Dancing. The Aussie-born has had a thriving career in UK theatre and was the associate director and choreographer of West Side Story, and choreographer of Calamity Jane.

On top of that, he’s set to star in the UK tour of the musical The Wizard of Oz as the Wicked Witch of the West later this year.

As for Dancing With The Stars, he joined the New Zealand iteration as a judge in seasons three, four and five, before crossing over to the Australian version last year.

Sharna Burgess has been dancing since she was five, and worked as a professional dancing on the US iteration of DWTS from season 18 until season 30. During that time she’s been partnered with some very well known celebrities, including Nick Carter, Jesse Metcalfe and Brian Austin Greene, the latter of who is her real life partner.

The NSW-born dancer became a judge on the Australian version of Dancing With The Stars in 2019, and he remained on the panel ever since.

Mark Wilson was a judge on the very first season of Dancing With The Stars Australia, way back in 2004. He stayed on in the role until 2010 and stepped away for seven seasons before returning in 2021.

Mark has a strong background in dancing and was crowned the Australian Dancesport Champion on five occasions – four times in New Vogue and once in Modern.

When he isn’t busy critiquing celebrities dancing on DWTS, Mark acts as a junior development officer for Dancesport Victoria and teaches students of all ages at his studio.

Helen Richey

Helen joined DWTS Australia as a judge in season 18 and 19, and is returning for season 21 this year.

Dancing with the Stars premieres on July 7 at 7pm on Channel 7 and 7Plus.
